PD2 · Lesson 53 — read after you practice.

1) Listen in two rounds

First listen for the situation and main point. Second, listen for who, what, when, where, and what you must do next.
  • Du har en besked fra lægehuset.
  • Din tid er flyttet til torsdag.
  • Husk at ringe tilbage inden klokken 15.
  • Der er ændringer på grund af vejarbejde.

2) Listening words

Hover or focus a Danish term to see its meaning.
  • en besked
  • en aftale
  • at ringe tilbage
  • en ændring
  • forsinket
  • næste skridt

3) Notice the important words

Pay special attention to negatives and time words: ikke, før, inden, senest, and i stedet for. They can change the meaning of the answer.

4) Exam tip

If you miss one word, keep listening. The speaker often repeats the key information or gives the same meaning in another way.
