Write a short invitation reply like the PD1 writing test

Goal: Write a short SMS: greeting, Ja gerne, when you meet, and Venlig hilsen + your name.

1) The four lines

A short reply needs four parts:
1. Hej Lars. — greeting + name
2. Ja, gerne. — you say yes
3. Vi ses på lørdag. / Vi ses klokken 19. — when
4. Venlig hilsen Amina. — sign-off + your name

Grammar

2) Yes with vil gerne

Ja, gerne. is the short yes to an invitation.
Ja, jeg vil gerne med. is a little longer.
Both are good in a PD1 message.

3) If you cannot

Hej Lars. Nej tak, jeg kan ikke på lørdag. Venlig hilsen Amina.
Still greeting + answer + your name. No Vi ses if you say no.

4) Exam tip

In PD1 writing you often reply to a short message. Include Hej + name, ja or nej, a day or time, and Venlig hilsen + your name. Keep it short.
