A Receipt — En kvittering

Read a supermarket receipt like the PD1 reading test

Goal: Read a short Danish receipt (kvittering): shop name, items, stk./kg, prices and the total (i alt).

1) Receipt words

en kvittering — a receipt
dato — date · stk. — pieces
kg — kilo · l — litre
kr / kroner — kroner
i alt — in total · tilbud — special offer

2) Read the lines

A line is usually item + amount + price.
Æbler 1 kg 16 kr = one kilo of apples, 16 kroner.
Æg 10 stk. 22 kr = ten eggs, 22 kroner.
Grammar

3) The total

I alt is the total at the bottom.
Det bliver 60 kroner. — The total is 60 kroner.
Add the lines: 12 + 10 + 22 + 16 = 60.

4) Exam tip

In PD1 reading you often get a short ad, note or receipt. Find the shop, the price of one item, and i alt. Ignore extra words. Dates are dd-mm-åååå.
